Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of gfrental.com and the GFRental app (the “Service”), operated by GF Rental LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“GFRental”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What GFRental is

GFRental provides platonic, remote companionship: conversation by text, voice and video between members and companions. Any AI features we offer are always clearly labeled as AI. GFRental is not a dating service, escort service, therapy or medical service, and companions are not counselors or licensed professionals.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you have previously been removed from it.

3. Conduct rules

• No sexual content, requests or conversation of any kind.
• No attempts to meet in person, exchange personal contact details or social media, or move communication outside the app.
• No payments, gifts or money exchanged directly between members and companions.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech or abusive behavior.

We may monitor conversations to enforce these rules and may suspend or remove any account that breaks them; unused paid credits may be forfeited where the law allows.

4. Membership, waitlist and billing

Memberships and credit plans renew automatically. Monthly plans renew every month, and annual plans every year, at the price shown at checkout, plus any tax, charged to your PayPal account until you cancel. If you join the waitlist, your first charge happens when your companion confirms; we’ll email you before that. You can cancel anytime in Account → Billing → Pause or cancel, in one click. Cancelling stops all future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We’ll email you at least 7 days before any price change and once a year before an annual plan renews.

4a. Free accounts and AI assistant replies

A free account includes a personal voice hello from the companion you choose and a limited free chat (currently 48 hours and up to 10 messages each way). If your companion is away and hasn’t replied within about 10 minutes, her AI assistant may reply on her behalf until she’s back. Every AI reply is clearly labeled “assistant (AI)” in the chat; the assistant never pretends to be her. Free chats may also involve communication with an AI. To keep talking after the free chat ends, start a membership.

4b. Our promises

Depending on when you joined, the site showed you one of these promises; we keep a record of which one you saw. Reply promise: if your companion doesn’t message you within 24 hours of joining, or doesn’t reply to one of your messages within 24 hours during your first 30 days, your next month is 50% off: we refund half of your next monthly payment once it’s made (we track this ourselves; you don’t need to ask). Members who joined on or before October 30, 2026 and saw our earlier promise (“your first month is free”) keep that promise — we refund their first month’s payment. Replies from her clearly labeled AI assistant don’t count as her reply. Free switch: if your companion isn’t the right fit, you can ask for a different companion from your account at any time at no extra charge. You can also pause your membership instead of cancelling.

4c. Billing name

Membership payments appear on card statements as “GFR Membership” (payments made through PayPal may show PayPal’s prefix).

5. Companions

Companions are independent contractors paid by GFRental. Companion availability can change; if your companion becomes unavailable we will offer you another companion.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, GFRental is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
